Back to feeling better!

The household had a rough last week with the cold crud. We have all gotten better but Kyler has a bad ear infection. It is draining and pretty yuck but atleast we know the tubes are doing the job. Thank God! Jayson is back to football season. He is starting to like it some better. Is doing alot more watching this year then playing and he doesn't know how to handle that seeing as though he has always played. We definetly have had a new expierence with coaches this year. But we will keep our chin up and stay positive. Life isn't always easy :) Jarett has had a tough year with school. He cries every morning and every afternoon. Plus has begun to tell some pretty wild stories. He told his teacher that our house burned down and we are living in a hotel. I was like what. Of course he says mom i was just kidding with her. He is my little toot for sure. Kaylee has met lots of new friends this year and is doing sooo much better! I think meeting new people and going to middle school has helped her like school alot better.




Robert and I took a riding trip last weekend with some friends. Grampy kept Jayson and Jarett and Nana kept Kinslee and Kyler. Kaylee was with her mom. We had a nice dinner and then played in the mud for awhile. It was nice to get out and have some adult time for a little bit. Thanks Nana Papa and Grampy!!

Back to school!

Well this has been a wonderful week! All the kids are back to school. Kaylee started middle school and Jayson is in 3rd and Jarett in 1st. They are all loving school and loving there teachers. I just hope it continues :)




Jayson had his 1st football scrimmage last Sat. We played in Splendora and boy was it a hotter sucker out there. The first game is Labor Day weekend. I am ready for games to start!

Wonderful Day!

Robert got to come home alot earlier today then usual on Saturdays. That was a nice change! My best friend Ashlee that had her baby earlier at 30 weeks got to bring her baby boy Landon aka Tater Tot home so of course i had to sneak over for just a minute and get some lovin and finally get to see him for the first time. He was in the nicu and only grandparents and parents could see him. It was so good to see him and and now i really can't wait to have Kinslee :) I snapped a couple pictures before i left. It was time for him to eat so he was a hungry little man. This evening my in laws and Gene and Jamie and Travis came over to watch the fight from a few weeks ago. They made burgers and TONS of shrimp and peppers. It was good to have ppl over to visit this bedrest stinks :) Thanks to my mom in law for cleaning up poor Robert was so tired and fell asleep right after everyone left. It was a GREAT night!!

Totally excited!

Well I am holding off having this baby so far! Laying on the couch or bed is just not me so its def been hard. Then four kids on top of it all makes it not easy either. But we are managing. Robert has been wonderful and has helped sooo much. We got Kinslees going home outfit today along with her hospital outfit and some other cute ones. I am so excited. We can pack her bags now! Debbie made them all and did such a wonderful job. She has worked so hard on getting them done and is just a blessing. I feel like i have known her forever since we have been talking daily getting all these done :) Thanks girl you are wonderful! I think we are all ready now and we are just gonna sit back and wait until the big day gets here!! Thanks for all the prayers!!

Been an adventure!

Monday night we had to take a trip to the hospital. I had not been feeling well for a few days and thought i was having gallbladder problems. When we got to the hospital my dad picked up the boys and Kaylee came with Robert and I. They checked me and i was dilated to a one and was having contractions regularly. They began breathine shots and an iv. After an hr they checked me again and i was at a 2. At that point they decided to keep me because they were afraid i might continue through the night. So they moved me to a room and gave me an ambien. Robert had not been to bed all night so my best friend Ashlee was at the hospital feeding her baby and said she would come stay the night with me so that Robert could get a good nights sleep. So he stayed at my dads which is ten mins away so if anything happened he was close by. I did well through the night and just had to be monitored once for contractions but they stopped. The next morning they started up again and when the doctor came in i was still a 2 and he prescribed procardia for the contractions and sent me home complete bedrest no driving ect to try and get me to atleast 36 weeks. I have 8 days until then. I go to the doc in the morning to be checked and make sure everything is still going ok. Of course my luck my doc is going on vacation next week so i am hoping she stays put atleast until he gets back. I think we will be ok! Keep us in your prayers!!

Day at the park!

Yesterday mom and i took the boys to the park. They had a blast! We have had so much going on with trying to get the house ready for the baby and getting mom packed to move we have not gotten to do to much. So we took a break and went to play! I think it was good for all of us actually :) Mom and the boys left this afternoon to go to Austin. They will be leaving Austin tomorrow to go to Grandbury to our family reunion. I will not be able to go since i have had all the boys early and the doc doesn't want to take any chances. I can't wait to see pics and hear stories though! We will have a quiet weekend and just try to get things cleaned up and ready for the baby girl! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I am ready for my PRINCESS!!

My baby shower was this weekend! It was sooo wonderful. My bestie Lisa was the one that did the shower at her home. We all had a great time chit chatting and eating yummy food. I got lots and lots of wonderful gifts and the best part was it was all PINK :) I have some wonderful family and friends. My mom and i put the bassinet and swing together and have looked thru the clothes over and over. My sister n law made her lots and lots of bows she is gonna be the best dressed baby ever :) My friend Tiffany from Austin came into town with her daughter and aunt and stayed the night along with my cousin and grandmother. We all had a great time talking and helping Tiff get on facebook :) My longgg time friend from Austin found me on facebook that i havn't talked to in years and it has been wonderful catching up and talking about old times. I tell ya what that facebook is awesome! I go back to the doc on July 21st. I am curious to see how long she will stay in :)

Wonderful weekend!

This was a great weekend! We visited my dad at Lake Conroe on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Jayson and Jarett went to stay the night on Thursday and me and Kyler and Robert went after Robert got off Friday. We took the boat out to watch fireworks Friday evening. That was neat and the kids loved it. I got to see my sister and brother in law that i havn't gotten to see in a long time :) The kids got lots of swimming time and got a little burned but there ok now and ready to go back swimming and boating. Poor gramps there wearing him out! Today we had a day of cleaning and painting. Of course i feel like i have started so many projects and have gotten way to much to be completed BUT i have to get it done before this baby gets here. I am feeling good of course just get tired so much easier but i will make it. Shoot i don't have a choice lol..

Painting the living room!

Well what a day! When Robert got off we ran to Lowes and Walmart. Got everything we needed to get the living room painted. We have not finished where we added the wall and neither of us liked having the half finished room. We both decided on a brown. Now thats its up i really like it. Robert had to go to work so i stayed up painting and trying to get Kyler to stay away from getting in the paint lol. But i managed to paint two and a half walls. Not bad huh! We will have to move our entertainment center r tomorrow to do the last wall. That will be a pain I am sure. Everything else is going good!

Great day!

Well we started out the day getting Kaylee packed for Rockport! She will be going with her Nana and Papa thursday for the 4th of July and is super excited. She is visiting her mom tonight and tomorrow before she goes. We then went to my doctor appt and had the last ultrasound. Kinslee is weighing in at 4 lbs 2 oz. The u/s tech said she really thinks she will take after me and not be as big as her daddy. She thinks 6-7 pounds so we will see. She was head down and turned over where all we could see was butt and back. She has a little hair and her heartbeat was 139. We start the 2 weeks appts now and will go back July 14th. He checked me and i have not started dilating so that was a good thing. I received my carseat cover and diaper bag and burp cloths yesterday. I was sooo excited and can not wait to have her in it. I tell you what i sure wish i was as talented as the women that made them for us. They did an awesome job! Well i better get some rest i have lots to do tomorrow around this house! Good night all!

What a hot day!

I tell ya what it seems like it gets hotter and hotter everyday! We did not get out of the house today. I had some contractions last night and some cramping on my side this morning so i took it pretty easy. This evening i was able to get up and do a little more but still have lots to do.

We took the kids Wed to the fire station with Nana and Mason. Aunt Misty works there so her and a couple firefighters gave the kids a tour and they really enjoyed it. We don't have to much planned for the weekend. My dad is coming tomorrow evening to move out my moms stuff to Austin and he is going to finish the trim in the entryway and the boys room so we can get all there room stuff moved back in. I am sooo ready to have my kitchen back to normal. On Sunday we have a birthday party and the kids are looking forward to that. Other then that we are staying clear of the heat :)

Good day!

Well we started out the day running errands. The boys HAD to each have sunglasses so when we got in the car i had to snap a picture of there cool new shades :) Kaylee went to stay with her mom for a few days so its just the boys and I. When Robert got home we took them swimming. Nana brought home pizza and cupcakes so they had a little pool party. Mom came home from Austin today and she will be moving her stuff this weekend and then will be in Austin for good the next weekend. It will be a very sad weekend when it gets here. I have a doctor appt tomorrow so we will see what he has to say! I am hoping that Robert will get the rest of the trim up in the boys room tomorrow so that we can get them all moved back in there. I am ready to have my kitchen back :) Well off for now...

Is it bedtime yet?

We have sure had a long day of running errands and glad to see the day is coming to an end. Me and the kids did sleep in this morning but got busy after we woke up. Today is Kaylee's big 11th birthday. I can't believe she is getting so old. I bet Robert when she was just 5. Boy the years have flown by. We went and got our car all cleaned up and it sure feels good to get in a clean car. It is just hardwork to get it done. I have Ashlee's baby shower tomorrow plus we are doing Fathers Day at Roberts parents tomorrow evening. So it will be another busy hot day. Gotta love being with family and friends though. It is official i have 10 weeks until the due date! I know the time will fly for sure now. My mom is in Austin and called earlier. She will be starting her new job there July 6th. So i guess between now and then she will be moving out. What a tough time that will be not only for me but the kiddos. But right now she feels thats where she needs to be so we will support her ! Well i better get off and get some rest before tomorrow i will update with some pictures of the day! Love to all!

Feeling better...

I havn't gotten to post in a few days we had some things going on but i think we are back in order. Tuesday we had to take Kyler to the hospital at 5:30am yes 5:30am lol for ear surgery. They put tubes in his ears and took his adnoids out. They also did a blood screen for allergies. The surgeon said his ears looked pretty good no fluid or anything but he had some nice size adnoids so that them being gone should help out big time. I hope the poor thing never gets a ear infection again. I went by my doctors office after he got out of surgery for them to check my arm out. My doctor was in surgery so his assistant looked at it. She was in complete surprise. She immediately lanced it. Boy was that some painful crap. I stayed strong and didn't let the tears out until i got into the car. She put me on a new medicine and i have to go for a follow up next Tuesday. It feels soooo much better now that its drained. Have really started having the braxton hick contractions this week. Some more painful then others. I am supposed to go for my 32 week ultrasound on July 1 but since i will be there next Tuesday i dont know if he will just go ahead and do it a week early. We shall see. Well i am going to close up for now and try and get some sleep!!

Wonderful weekend!

Yesterday Robert and his cousin Lee started on the wood floors in the entryway and the boys room. Around 8pm they stopped and Roberts friend Gene fried some fish and shrimp. Boy was it good! Of course by 10pm we were exhasted and everyone had left.

We slept in until 10:30am this morning and got back started on the room. Lee and Robert worked there butts off ALL day. They got the entryway done and almost all of the boys room done. They will get it all finished on Tuesday. We have a dinner date with some friends tomorrow night so Rob will take a break :)

My mom found the two last reamaining blinds for Kinslee's room. I am so excited and hope to get them up in the morning. So much to do i hope i get it done in time :) I turned 29 weeks on Friday. I can't believe i am almost in the single digits. This pregnancy has flown by compared to the boys.

What a rough day!

It has been a rough day but i am hoping it will be much better tomorrow. Last Thursday i found a small knot under my armpit and just thought it was a bite or something. Long story short apparently i have a lyphmnode that is very infected. I had called into my doc earlier in the week and they just said to watch it but to call back if it got worse. Well a sleepless night because of pain and nothing but tears this morning i called them back. They sent a antibiotic (Keflex) and a pain med (codeine) to Walgreens and i got started on them around noon. It is feeling some better but still very swollen and painful. We are finishing up the wood floors tomorrow in the boys room and in the entryway. So i must feel better :) I have to decide on paint for the entryway and in the living room. Those are such big decisions! I just have to much going on and to much to do to be sick and hurting :) This med better kick in quick. My dad came and picked Jayson and Jarett up today and they will be having lots of fun at the lake with them. Jas did call tonight crying to tell me that he missed me :( Breaks my heart but i know its because he is worn out from swimming all day. Kaylee has been helping me out lots today around the house and with Kyler. It isn't easy having a two yr old and not be able to raise your arm at all. But we made it and i just know tomorrow will be lots better. Well i better get off and get to bed but i will update with pics of the new floors tomorrow :)

Almost the weekend!

Well another day behind us. We took the kids swimming again after seeing how wonderful they all just passed out from being so tired :) They had fun and of course and could have stayed longer. I came home and worked on the nursery. Mom bought a wall lettering to put up above the bed boy was that a pain in the butt to put up. But it does look very cute. I rearranged the room and just need to get a last few things to complete it. My friend is making cushion covers for the glider and ottoman they were blue and we just can't have any blue this time around :) My brother is down visiting for a few days and the kids of course love that. He took them back out swimming this evening for about an hr. Spoiled brats :) Well off to have a little ME time before bed !! Have a good evening!
